Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by TARTLE. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the TARTLE website. This information will never be used to generate digital profiles on TARTLE’s users.
This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
Security of your Personal Information
TARTLE secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. TARTLE uses the following methods for this purpose:

TARTLE does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
Disconnecting your TARTLE Account from Third Party Websites
You will be able to connect your TARTLE account to third party accounts. BY CONNECTING YOUR TARTLE ACCOUNT TO YOUR THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE CONTINUOUS DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU FROM OTHERS (IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS ON THOSE THIRD PARTY SITES). IF YOU DO NOT WANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU, INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, TO BE DOWNLOADED IN THIS MANNER, DO NOT — USE THIS FEATURE. You may disconnect your account from a third party account at any time. Users may learn how to disconnect their accounts from third-party websites from inside the mobile application by deleting all account information (log-in, personal data, etc.) via the FAQ section of our website.
From time to time, TARTLE may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.
If you would like to stop receiving communications via email from TARTLE, you may opt out of such communications.

This top section summarizes the terms below. This summary is provided to help your understanding of the terms, but be sure to read the entire document, because when you agree to it, you are indicating you accept all of the terms, not just this summary.
-TARTLE Terminal and Mobile services (the “Services”) are a suite of services provided to you by Tartle LLC.
-The Services are provided “as is” and there are no warranties of any kind. There are significant limits on Tartle’s liability for any damages arising from your use of the Services.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TARTLE Terminal and Mobile, a suite of online services provided by Tartle LLC (the “Services”).TARTLE Accounts
In order to use some of the Services, you’ll need to create a TARTLE Account. During registration, you will be asked to set a password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity that happens through your TARTLE account. TARTLE is not responsible for any losses arising out of unauthorized use of your TARTLE account. You may be required to provide certain identifying information pursuant to our know-your-customer and anti-money laundering compliance program (“Compliance Program”).
“API” means application programming interface, and is not a Service, as defined below.
“Fork” means a change to the underlying protocol of a Virtual Currency network that results in more than one version of a Virtual Currency, the result of which may be one or more versions that are not supported by Blockchain.
“Service” means one or more features provided or operated by Blockchain via website or local application (mobile, desktop, or otherwise), including but not limited to: (a) a wallet service consisting of software that permits you to self-custody virtual currency, organize network addresses, view transaction history and transact in virtual currencies (the “Wallet”), (b) a noncustodial conversion service that allows you to exchange or convert one virtual currency for another (“Conversion Service”); (c) third party conversion services that allow you to convert one virtual currency for another (“Third Party Conversion Service”); and (d) the Airdrop Program.
“User Account” means an account for Services associated with both (i) a Wallet and (ii) a verified identity approved in accordance with Blockchain’s Compliance Program.
A Wallet is not, by itself, a User Account.
“Virtual Currency” means a cryptocurrency, digital currency, digital asset, cryptoasset or other such similar term describing, for example, Bitcoin or Ether but does not include a derivative of a virtual currency or a security.
TARTLE Terminal and Mobile lets you download, encrypt, buy, and sell information concerning your digital identity or other individuals anonymously on the TARTLE Global Data Exchange. The exchange offers the use of TARTLE Global VPN, which you can enable and disable the TARTLE Global VPN through the settings section of your TARTLE application or device settings. TARTLE offers the use of a TARTLE HD WALLET (“The Wallet”).
The Wallet is provided to you exclusively by Tartle LLC. At no point will TARTLE ever take custody or control over Virtual Currency stored in your Wallet. The Wallet is only capable of supporting certain Virtual Currencies. Under no circumstances should you attempt to store Virtual Currencies in your Wallet that the Wallet does not support.
The Wallet does not store, send, or receive Virtual Currency.
When you create a Wallet, the Wallet software generates a cryptographic private and public key pair that you may use to send and receive any supported Virtual Currency via the relevant Virtual Currency network. You are solely responsible for storing, outside of the Services, a backup of any Wallet, private key or transaction information that you maintain in your Wallet or otherwise with the Services. If you do not maintain a backup of your Wallet data outside of the Services, you will be may not be able to access Virtual Currency previously accessed using your Wallet in the event that we discontinue or no longer offer some or all of the Services or may otherwise lose access to Virtual Currency. We are not responsible for maintaining this data on your behalf.
Risk Disclosures Relating to the Wallet.
In order to be completed, any Virtual Currency transaction created with the Wallet must be confirmed and recorded in the Virtual Currency ledger associated with the relevant Virtual Currency network. Such networks are decentralized, peer-to-peer networks supported by independent third parties, which are not owned, controlled or operated by TARTLE.
TARTLE has no control over any Virtual Currency network and therefore cannot and does not ensure that any transaction details you submit via our Services will be confirmed on the relevant Virtual Currency network. You agree and understand that the transaction details you submit via our Services may not be completed, or may be substantially delayed, by the Virtual Currency network used to process the transaction. We do not guarantee that the Wallet can transfer title or right in any Virtual Currency or make any warranties whatsoever with regard to title.
Once transaction details have been submitted to a Virtual Currency network, we cannot assist you to cancel or otherwise modify your transaction or transaction details. TARTLE has no control over any Virtual Currency network and does not have the ability to facilitate any cancellation or modification requests.
Forks. In the event of a Fork, TARTLE may not be able to support activity related to your Virtual Currency. You agree and understand that, in the event of a Fork, the transactions may not be completed, completed partially, incorrectly completed, or substantially delayed. TARTLE is not responsible for any loss incurred by you in caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by a Fork.
No Password Retrieval.
With respect to the Wallet, Tartle does not receive or store your Wallet password, nor any keys, network addresses or transaction history. We cannot assist you with Wallet password retrieval. You are solely responsible for remembering, storing and keeping secret your Wallet password. Any Virtual Currency you have associated with such Wallet may become inaccessible if you do not know or keep secret your Wallet password. Any third party with knowledge of one or more of your credentials (including, without limitation, a backup phrase, wallet identifier or password) can dispose of virtual currency in your wallet.
When you create a Wallet, you must: (a) create a strong password that you do not use for any other website or online service; (b) provide accurate and truthful information; (c) protect and keep secret all credentials for the Wallet; (d) protect access to your device and your Wallet; (e) promptly notify us if you discover or otherwise suspect any security breaches related to your Wallet; and (f) use the backup functionality provided through the Wallet and safeguard your backup files. You agree to take responsibility for all activities that occur under your Wallet and accept all risks of any authorized or unauthorized access to your Wallet, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Fees. TARTLE does not currently charge a fee for Wallet, receiving, sending or controlling Virtual Currency. However, we reserve the right to do so in the future, and in such case any applicable fees will be displayed prior to you incurring the fee. Network fees (including, without limitation “miner’s fees”) required to use a Virtual Currency network may apply to a transaction. We may attempt to calculate such a fee for you. Our calculation may not be sufficient, or it may be excessive. You may select a greater or lesser fee. You are solely responsible for paying any such fee and TARTLE will neither advance nor fund such a fee on your behalf, nor be responsible for any excess or insufficient fee calculation.
GENERAL RISK FACTORS
You agree and understand that there are risks associated with utilizing Services involving Virtual Currencies including, but not limited to, the risk of failure of hardware, software and internet connections, the risk of malicious software introduction, and the risk that third parties may obtain unauthorized access to information stored within your Wallet, including, but not limited to your public and private keys. You agree and understand that TARTLE will not be responsible for any communication failures, disruptions, errors, distortions or delays you may experience when using the Services, however caused.
You accept and acknowledge that there are risks associated with utilizing any virtual currency network, including, but not limited to, the risk of unknown vulnerabilities in or unanticipated changes to the network protocol. You acknowledge and accept that TARTLE has no control over any cryptocurrency network and will not be responsible for any harm occurring as a result of such risks, including, but not limited to, the inability to reverse a transaction, and any losses in connection therewith due to erroneous or fraudulent actions.
The risk of loss in using Services involving Virtual Currencies may be substantial and losses may occur over a short period of time. In addition, price and liquidity are subject to significant fluctuations that may be unpredictable.
Virtual Currencies are not legal tender and are not backed by any sovereign government. In addition, the legislative and regulatory landscape around Virtual Currencies is constantly changing and may affect your ability to use, transfer, or exchange Virtual Currencies.
The TARTLE Privacy Notice describes details on what we receive from your use of the Services and how we use that information. We use the information we receive through the Services as described in our TARTLE Privacy Notice.
YOUR CONTENT IN OUR SERVICES
You may upload, manually fill content, bid on said content, sell said content, or delete said account content as part of the features of the Services. By uploading, manually filling, bidding, selling or deleting said content, you hereby grant yourself a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your content in connection with the provision of the Services. You hereby represent and warrant that your content will not infringe the rights of any third party and will comply with any content guidelines presented by TARTLE.
TARTLE’S PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
TARTLE does not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Services that are not specifically stated in these Terms. For example, these Terms do not provide the right to use any of TARTLE’s copyrights, trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand features.
These Terms will continue to apply until ended by either you or TARTLE. You can choose to end them at any time for any reason by deactivating your TARTLE account and discontinuing your use of the Services.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including, but not limited to, if we reasonably believe: (i) you have violated these Terms, (ii) you create risk or possible legal exposure for us; or (iii) our provision of the Services to you is no longer commercially viable. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you by the email address associated with your TARTLE account or the next time you attempt to access the Services.
In all such cases, these Terms shall terminate, including, without limitation, your license to use the Services, except that the following sections shall continue to apply: Indemnification, Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability, Miscellaneous.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TARTLE, its contractors, contributors, licensors, and partners, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all third party claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Services (including, but not limited to, from any content uploaded, deleted, bid or sold by you).
DISCLAIMER; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TARTLE AND THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICES ARE FREE OF DEFECTS, MERCHANTABLE, FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGING. YOU BEAR THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO SELECTING THE SERVICES FOR YOUR PURPOSES AND AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE RISK THAT YOUR CONTENT IS DELETED OR CORRUPTED OR THAT SOMEONE ELSE ACCESSES YOUR ACCOUNT. THIS LIMITATION WILL APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY REMEDY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THIS DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY LAW, TARTLE AND THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DIRECT AND INDIRECT DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, AND COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE) UPON WHICH SUCH CLAIM IS BASED. THE COLLECTIVE LIABILITY OF TARTLE AND THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED $50 (FIFTY DOLLARS). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
MODIFICATION OF THESE TERMS
TARTLE may update these Terms from time to time to address a new feature of the Services or to clarify a provision. The updated Terms will be posted online. If the changes are substantive, we will announce the update through TARTLE’s usual channels for such announcements such as blog posts and forums. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of such changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes. To make your review more convenient, we will post an effective date at the top of this page.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mozilla concerning the Services and are governed by the laws of the state of California, U.S.A., excluding its conflict of law provisions. If any portion of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. In the event of a conflict between a translated version of these terms and the English language version, the English language version shall control.
Taxes. It is your responsibility to determine what, if any, taxes apply due to your use of TARTLE Services, and it is your responsibility to report and remit the correct tax to the appropriate tax authority. You agree that TARTLE is not responsible for determining whether taxes apply to your Virtual Currency transactions or for collecting, reporting, withholding or remitting any taxes arising from any virtual currency transactions.
